The Guardian of Choice, Transformation… And Stagnation?
Or, how to stop sabotaging yourself when things are about to get good
“If you don’t believe in yourself, somewhere or other, you sabotage yourself.” – Jason Day
Aloha, lovely entrepreneurs!
We’re currently delving into Archetype mindset. This is so important for your finances. Because it’s within your mindset that your money will either flow to you abundantly or be withheld.
So far we’ve taken a look at the mindset of all eight Sacred Money Archetypes: the Ruler, Accumulator, Connector,Alchemist, Maverick, Celebrity, Nurturer and Romantic.
And when it comes to the survival archetypes, we’ve already navigated the vulnerabilities of the Child, the power dynamics of the Victim, and the negotiations of the Prostitute. This week, we conclude our look at the survival archetypes with the most misunderstood guardian of them all: The Saboteur.
The Saboteur is the Guardian of Choice.
In its empowered state, this archetype acts like an early-warning system. It’s that internal “ping” that alerts you when you’re about to walk into a trap or undermine your own brilliance. It’s the gatekeeper that ensures your choices are actually leading you toward the transformation you claim to want.
But when money—and the power that comes with it—starts to feel like a threat to your familiar world?
You “forget” to follow up on a lucrative lead just as your business is about to scale.
You suddenly doubt your expertise the moment you’re offered a prestigious platform.
You create a “crisis” that drains your savings just as you’re reaching a new level of financial security.
As Caroline Myss points out, we often fear inviting the kind of change that requires us to “be all.” We want the success, but we fear the transformation it demands of us. The Saboteur isn’t trying to ruin your life; it’s revealing the places where your self-esteem is still shivering in the shadows, afraid of the light of your own empowerment.
This Mindset Tweakment is about making the Saboteur your ally. It’s about learning to hear its warning voice before you trip over your own feet.
Let’s shift you back into your empowered Guardian of Choice.
These mindset statements reconnect you to abundance while strengthening your personal boundaries and self-esteem by using the key words of Ho’oponopono.1
So take three deep, luxurious breaths in… and out… and let’s dive in.

Guardian of Choice, hear this:
The fear of change is just the ego’s way of trying to keep you “safe” in a small life. But you weren’t built for a small life.
You don’t need to stay stagnant to stay safe.
You don’t need to sabotage your wins to prove you’re humble.
You don’t need to fear the woman you are becoming.
You are the architect of your choices. When you stop betraying your own potential, the world has no choice but to rise and meet you.

… and if you liked it…
We’re going to ease the stress by blending prosperity mindset work with the Ho’oponopono cleaning process – a method taught by Morrnah Simeona, the Hawaiian kahuna lapa’au (healer) who brought this practice to the modern world.
Why combine the two?
Because each mindset statement activates a new possibility…
… and the Ho’oponopono phrases clean away the resistance to receiving it.
It’s intention → release → intention → release.
A steady rhythm of upgrade and cleanup.
It’s simple, potent, and energetically clean – exactly how we like our money mindset work around here!
