Archetypes! Money Charts! And… The Dance Of "One Step Forward, Two Steps Back"?
Or, how your Signature and Survival Archetypes can lift or trash your financial decisions
“A woman’s best protection is a little money of her own” – Clare Boothe Luce
Aloha, lovely entrepreneurs!
We’ve done it.
We’ve journeyed through the glittering palace of the Sacred Money Archetypes and survived the deep, dark woods of the Survival Archetypes.
You’ve met your Ruler, your Maverick and your Romantic. You’ve also had a direct (and perhaps slightly uncomfortable) conversation with your inner Child, Victim, Prostitute, and Saboteur.
But here is the truth that will change your financial life: These archetypes are not living in separate rooms. They are all on the dance floor of your bank account at the same time.
And that dance floor is circular and split into 12 segments. And where your archetypes choose to boogie will influence whether they’re in “har-money” (light) with each other, flying high to a fast tempo jive, or, causing chaos (shadow), head-banging to thrash metal and shoving each other about.
In this final Mindset Tweakment of the series, we’re looking at the interplay—the way your Survival archetypes act as the “shadow” or the “bodyguard” to your Signature Sacred Money Archetype.
The Dance of Your Money Chart
Your Signature Sacred Money Archetype is your “soul’s purpose” with money. But your Survival archetypes are your “soul’s protection.” When you aren’t conscious of them, the Survival team can hijack the Signature team.
For example, let’s go back to the money chart we created way back in October last year and see how the Sacred Money Archetypes could be thwarted by one of the Survival archetypes depending on where they reside on the dancefloor:
Here are some examples, going through each Signature Archetype in turn:
The Eleventh House Ruler vs. The Fifth House Saboteur: Your Ruler has a massive vision for the future and your community (House 11). But she’s being checked by the Saboteur in your house of creativity and risk (House 5). You might have a world-changing business idea, but you “choose” to play it safe or sabotage the creative spark because the transformation feels too big to handle.
The Sixth House Accumulator vs. The Fifth House Saboteur: Your Accumulator is the queen of daily routine and financial meticulousness in your house of work and health (House 6). But she is constantly being checked by the Saboteur in your house of joy and creativity (House 5). You might have the perfect daily spreadsheet, but you “choose” to sabotage the very creative risks or “fun” investments that would lead to your next level of growth because they feel too disruptive to your carefully ordered routines.
The Third House Connector vs. The Seventh House Child: Your Connector is the undisputed queen of networking and clever communication in your immediate circles (House 3). However, when it comes to formal partnerships or business contracts (House 7), the Wounded Child often grabs the wheel. You might be a brilliant bridge-builder for others, but in your own one-on-one deals, you find yourself abdicating power and waiting for a “grown-up” to handle the serious negotiations.
The First House Alchemist vs. The Seventh House Child (The Power Opposition): As these archetypes reside in opposite houses, it can result in a fascinating tug-of-war. Your Alchemist sits in your house of self and identity (House 1), making you a natural at manifesting and unconventional ideas. However, she is in direct opposition to the Wounded Child in your house of partnerships (House 7). You project an image of a powerful manifestor to the world, but the moment a business partner or spouse enters the frame, you flip into dependency—waiting for them to handle the “real” money or validate your magic before you dare to act. You can only really get to know yourself if you know who the opposing person is. To balance the opposition you must understand that “it’s not them”, it’s “me” as well.
The Fourth House Maverick vs. The Eighth House Prostitute: Your Maverick is busy breaking ancestral patterns and rebelling against “the way things have always been done” in your house of home and roots (House 4). Yet, your Prostitute sits in your house of shared resources, taxes, and deep contracts (House 8). You might be a rebel at home, but in high-stakes business deals, you find yourself “selling out” your Maverick spirit for a false sense of security, staying in misaligned financial entanglements because you’re afraid to truly stand alone.
The Twelfth House Celebrity vs. The Second House Victim: Your Celebrity possesses a luminous, “secret” star power currently residing in your subconscious (House 12). This potential is often suppressed by the Victim in your house of personal income and self-worth (House 2). You might feel like a “victim” of the economy or your own bank balance, which keeps your true, charismatic influence hidden in the shadows rather than allowing it to fuel your personal wealth.
The Tenth House Nurturer vs. The Eighth House Prostitute: Your Nurturer is driven to their highest calling to build a public legacy of service and care (House 10). But this vision is often challenged by the Prostitute sitting in your house of shared resources and financial depth (House 8). You may find yourself over-delivering for the sake of your “nurturing” public brand while privately negotiating away your integrity or boundaries in financial partnerships just to keep a false sense of security.
The Ninth House Romantic vs. The Second House Victim: Your Romantic has big, beautiful visions for expansion, travel, and higher learning (House 9). But these dreams are often grounded by the Victim in your house of personal income and self-worth (House 2). You crave the luxury and expansion of the Ninth House, but you let a “poor me” narrative about your current bank balance stop you from taking the very steps that would create the abundance you desire.
The goal isn’t to get rid of the Survival team. It’s to integrate them. When your Saboteur becomes your Guardian of Choice, she invites the changes that allow your Accumulator to consciously spend and not just hoard the money. When your Prostitute becomes the Guardian of Faith, she ensures your Maverick only breaks the rules that are worth breaking.
Let’s bring the whole team into alignment.

A Final Word on the Journey:
You are not a single note; you are a symphony. Your money chart is the sheet music.
When you understand how your Guardian of Choice (Saboteur) can support your Inner Hedonist (Romantic), you stop “guilt-spending” and start to enjoy “intentional luxuriating.” When you know how your Guardian of Power (Victim) can support your Inner Alchemist, you stop being a “starving artist” and start being a wealthy visionary.
You don’t have to choose between your survival and your sacredness. You can have both.

… and you wanna dance…
We’re going to ease the stress by blending prosperity mindset work with the Ho’oponopono cleaning process – a method taught by Morrnah Simeona, the Hawaiian kahuna lapa’au (healer) who brought this practice to the modern world.
Why combine the two?
Because each mindset statement activates a new possibility…
… and the Ho’oponopono phrases clean away the resistance to receiving it.
It’s intention → release → intention → release.
A steady rhythm of upgrade and cleanup.
It’s simple, potent, and energetically clean – exactly how we like our money mindset work around here!
