ACIM! Ho’oponopono! Morrnah! Money!

Or, how two spiritual approaches can reset your relationship with money

So, we’ve met the inner child.

And we know how important it is to nurture that relationship to the max!

This time, let’s see if we can encourage the child to clean our finances.

And to that end, I’m gonna go for a bit of A Course In Miracles / Ho’oponopono cross over.

Three years ago, I spent the year taking each daily ACIM lesson and looking for the Ho’oponopono twist.

And one of my favourite lessons is this one:

ACIM Lesson 194: I place the future in the Hands of God

This is something of a motto for me.

I love this Lesson. After all, wouldn’t you want to put Divinity in charge? The Divinity that knows exactly what’s going to happen tomorrow, next week, next year, while you can barely figure out what to have for lunch?

A Divinity, that, after all, knows the highest and brightest outcomes to anything and everything for everyone concerned?

What anxiety, fear, lack, limitation or any other negative thing could I experience if the Divinity that started this whole thing is in charge?

If God loves me as much as He claims to, why could anything untoward happen?

The Lesson explains that to God, my past, present and future are all one and the same. And if that is how God sees them, so should I.

I get it, that’s easier said than done. This could be tricky. But I am willing to at least try and see things as God does. And the way to do that is… to place the future in His Hands.

And because, if I do that, the past and present will be given Him as well, the past will no longer torment me and any fear of the future will become meaningless.

So today, let’s specifically place our finances in the Hands of God.

Let’s give the Divinity whatever money we have, our debts, our work, our savings, our fears about money, our gains.

As Morrnah petitioned:

Spirit, Superconscious, please locate the origin of my feelings, thoughts of money, work and finances.
Take each and every level, layer, area and aspect of my being to this origin.
Analyse it and resolve it perfectly with God’s Truth.
Come through all generations of time and eternity,
Healing every incident and its appendages based on the origin.
Please do it according to God’s will until I am in the present,
Filled with light and truth.
God’s peace and love, forgiveness of myself for my incorrect perceptions.
Forgiveness of every person, place, circumstances and events which contributed to this, these feelings, thoughts and beliefs.
Peace be with you, All My Peace. The Peace that is “I”, the Peace that is “I Am”.
The peace for always, now and forever and ever more.
My peace I give to you, my peace I leave with you – not the world’s peace, but only my peace. The peace of “I”.

I’m feeling better already!
